Before you start
- You need access to add a script to your website's <head> (or ask us to add it).
Step by step
- Click "Add site", enter the domain (e.g. example.com) and optionally a name.
- Copy the tracking script with "Copy" and place it in the <head> of every page. On WordPress it goes in the theme header or through a header-scripts plugin.
- Open your website. Under "Active now (5 minutes)" you should see yourself.
- Choose a period (24 hours, 7 or 30 days) and see visitors, sessions, page views, bounce rate and average duration.
- See where visitors come from (Traffic channels, Top referrers, UTM campaigns) and what they view (Popular pages, Landing and Exit pages).
- See countries, new versus returning visitors, devices, operating systems and browsers.
- To track actions (e.g. purchase, form) add window.ncpa('event_name', {key:'value'}) to your site. They appear under "Custom events".
