Follow the steps in your account
Open in platform Sign-in and access to this tool are required.
Before you start
- Connect Meta with publishing permission ("Connect for Publishing" under "Connected accounts") and pick a page. Without it, scheduled posts will fail.
- Publishing to Instagram is not available yet.
Step by step
- Check each account's status at the top: "ready to publish" or "publishing approval needed". In the second case click "Enable publishing".
- Click "New post" and choose an account.
- Write the text and add an image or video and, optionally, a link.
- Pick a date and time (in your computer's time zone).
- If someone should review it first, tick "Require approval before publishing".
- Click "Schedule", or "Save draft" to continue later.
- The "Content calendar" shows all posts by day. From each post you can Approve, Duplicate or Delete.
- The "Published on Facebook" tab shows the page's real posts. Click "Refresh" for the latest.
Common questions
- The post failed to publish.
- Usually the Meta connection lacks publishing permission or has expired. Reconnect for Publishing and schedule it again.
- The post did not go out on time.
- If it requires approval, it is only published after someone clicks "Approve".
