Before you start
- For a new server click "+ New server". It is ready a few minutes after payment.
Step by step
- Click "Manage" on a server. At the top you see status, location, IP and, if it runs WordPress, the site details.
- Under "Server actions" use "Power on", "Reboot" or "Shutdown". While stopped, the site is offline.
- Under "Metrics" see CPU, network and disk for the last hour.
- Under "Snapshots" enter a description (e.g. "Before update") and click "Create". It takes 1–3 minutes. "Restore" returns the server to exactly that state.
- Under "Upgrade" choose a larger model (vCPU, RAM, disk) and click "Request upgrade". We confirm the new monthly price before the change.
- Under "Link to domain" choose one of your domains. DNS records (and optionally MX/SPF/DMARC) are set automatically. It applies within 5–30 minutes.
- Under "SSH access (root)" see the user and password. "Console" logs you in from the browser.
- Under "Advanced": install Redis or Memcached for faster WordPress/Laravel, or ClamAV for weekly malware scans (with "Scan now" for an immediate check).
Common questions
- I forgot the root password.
- Under "Advanced" click "Reset root password". The new password is shown once and the server restarts.
- The server does not start or respond.
- Try "Restart". If that does not help, enable "Rescue mode" for recovery, or open a support request.
- Does restoring a snapshot delete data?
- Yes. Anything changed after the snapshot is lost. Take a new snapshot before restoring if unsure.
